Pastoral Council


The Council's primary role is to advise the pastor concerning the administration of the parish, to promote parish life, to encourage the involvement of the laity.


Pastoral Council Elections

Holy Ghost Parish needs Christian leadership to help support our pastoral life and spiritual growth. Please help us identify individuals who may be willing to serve on the Pastoral Council.


This year, 3 candidates will be elected:

1 male and 2 females.


In order to be considered for this ministry, all candidates MUST:

· Be at least 18 years of age

· Be a baptized, practicing Catholic

· Be a registered member of Holy Ghost Parish (In Good Standing) for at least 3 years  (Membership  

      determined by parish support through envelope usage.)

· Be a participant in ongoing worship life of our parish, especially Sunday Eucharist

· Possess a willingness to serve on at least one commission

· Be able to attend Pastoral Council meetings on the 2nd Thursday of the month

· Be Committed to serving a three year term


All nominations are due by Monday June 25, 2018. All nominees will be asked to attend an information session on June 27th  at 6:00 PM. They will have the option to remain in the election process or decline the opportunity. Elections will be held on July 7-8, 2018.
